Terry brings to Mae analytical rigor, collaborative problem-solving, and a talent for making the complex clear. In his role as Grants Manager, Terry applies those capabilities to new purpose, working alongside partners as a thoughtful teammate and advisor. His skills and experience, combined with a genuine willingness to listen and learn, enhances Mae’s ability to drive impactful change through informed support, collaboration, and expertise.
Prior to Mae, Terry spent over two decades as an attorney in the technology industry, where he helped build some of the sector's most consequential companies. In senior roles at publicly-traded technology companies, he has led global teams and developed broad expertise in complex transactions, business operations, cross-functional leadership, and organizational strategy.
Throughout his professional life, Terry has complemented his work with active civic and community engagement. Terry currently serves as the chair of his city’s charter commission and volunteers within the community at local food security programs. His service experiences continue to deepen his belief that lasting solutions truly come from collaboration across competencies and that individuals have a meaningful role to play, whenever and wherever they are able.
Terry holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.S. in Pharmacology/Toxicology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
